People are at the heart of our zero accidents policy – working to deliver fleets that minimise avoidable risk. That's why our technicians are trained to the highest of standards. The safety of your customers, employees and other road users is paramount.
We invest in training our technicians to the highest of standards; with the 'Licence to Fit’ City & Guilds accredited programme and REACT Roadside Emergency Licences. Training is supported by the technical schools of Michelin and Bridgestone. We are also proud to be early adopters of the new IRTEC Tyre accreditation developed by the Institute of Road Transport Engineers. This is set to become the benchmark standard for tyre technicians working within OEM servicing operations.
This level of training combined with our established proactive maintenance policies will maximise the service life of your tyres. Critically, it will also minimise the risk of avoidable failure with their detailed inspections correcting tyre pressures and repairing any tyre damage. That's why we call them technicians, because they do so much more than a truck tyre fitter.
Operationally, our technicians will become familiar with your vehicles and build close relationships with your staff. Over time, this in-depth knowledge will enable them to become a trusted part of your dedicated fleet management team.
When a tyre is punctured or damaged in any way, we always remove it from the wheel. This allows our technicians to carefully examine the tyre internally and externally, to ensure there are no hidden faults. Only then will we perform a repair in accordance with British Standard (BS AU159). This will ensure your tyre is safe for every road-user and covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Tructyre are proud to hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations, covering quality assurance, environmental responsibility and best practice health and safety.
With our technicians working in a range of environments; from customer sites to the roadside to other public areas, we work hard to minimise any risk. Our integrated management system carefully defines the best possible work policies and procedures. These ensure our technicians perform our fleet tyre services in the safest, most consistent and professional manner. It also provides the framework to drive our commitment to continual improvement.
And for your peace of mind, we have them vetted for regulatory compliance and supply chain risk management by SafeContractor and AVETTA.
TyreWatch is engineered to continuously analyse your fleet's tyres. Should TyreWatch detect rapid pressure leakage or high temperature – the main causes of tyre failure – it generates an urgent stop alert. The driver can choose where to stop safely, in full-control of the vehicle, preventing imminent tyre failure and minimising risk.To minimise avoidable risk in your fleet, talk to us today: +44 (0)330 100 7707
