Brexit Update

Like many businesses in the UK, Tructyre is waiting on the outcome of the UK/EU Transition Period negotiations to better understand what trading arrangements with the EU will be in place from 1 January 2021.

We planned extensively in 2019 for Brexit and those preparations still stand: we have robust stock levels and, as part of the Michelin and Euromaster groups, have access to their supply chains.

We are, of course, aware of concerns raised by industry trade bodies, but we are predominantly a UK business. We expect that any impact on vehicles coming in or out of the UK would have a limited effect on our operations.  

We have already started planning in advance of 1 January 2021; once we have a clearer picture of the situation, we will reassess and issue an update, subject to successful conclusion of government negotiations.
