Since Tructyre was established back in 1996, we have recognised the importance of our valued employees. Quite simply, our workforce means everything.
We invest in training our technicians to the highest of standards; with the 'Licence to Fit’ City & Guilds accredited programme and REACT Roadside Emergency Licences. Training is supported by the technical schools of Michelin and Bridgestone. They are well equipped too, with modern service vehicles that are fully equipped with calibrated and certified equipment.
Tructyre are also early adopters of the new IRTEC Tyre accreditation developed by the Institute of Road Transport Engineers. This is set to become the benchmark standard for tyre technicians working within OEM servicing operations.
This level of training combined with our established tyre management policies empowers our technicians to maximise the service life of commercial vehicle tyres. So, they actually fit fewer tyres as each one lasts longer. That's why we call them technicians, because they do so much more than a truck tyre fitter.
We are proud to hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations. Together, they certify that we perform our fleet tyre services in the most professional, consistent and safest manner. They also provide the framework to drive our commitment to continual improvement.
We recruit, invest in and develop our employees in every department at all levels. This includes gateway apprenticeships to every part of the business. We work hard to ensure we are leading employers and are rightfully proud of our employee retention rates.
We consider our valued employees the key resource in our long-term business ambitions. These policies enable us to deliver the renowned levels of innovation and service we're known for – well in to the future.
